Usually you have to be down at the Stampede Grounds to see a real cowboy during Stampede week but the KlatschMeister spotted this one at Cafe le Matin in Silver Springs. He was enjoying a quiet moment, probably reflecting on the vicissitudes of life and the vanishing of the old West and all that.

Down at the other end of the table another cowboy and some guy trying to hail a cab.

Here's what happens when you don't have a wide enuff lens to get everybody in and you can't back up any further.

The Krysaks made the drive in from Airdrie to have a cuppa and set a spell. Turns out it's number one son's birthday today and Ginger just happened to have a snap of him in his air cadets outfit. Happy B'Day, Dan!

While we were cued up at the coffee counter Sheil told El Klatscho that, for some reason, she had recently gone off coffee and switched to tea. She also said that since she did that she hardly ever gets a headache. She asked the lady for a large tea to stay. I wonder if they have an extra large and, if they do, what it looks like.
